Reports
Treasurer – see attached report for exact numbers
Website – Martin asked if we should put the names of donors onto the website? Square website donations where about 11 out of 40. Thirty one percent of the donations came from the QR code on the square. It seems not all Geyserville residents received the Appeal letter. Our mission link on the bottom of the website is currently not working properly. Do we want the agenda and minutes included on the website? GFC does have a Face Book page. It was also brought up to ask if we could put on the sign downtown, “Thank you for the Appeal Donations”. John is going to ask Gretchen if we can and how?
GAV/MAC – Paul, was also asked to take notes at the GAV/MAC meetings as well. They are looking at the grants trying to get the Smart Train to Cloverdale and also the possibility of the Summer Bridge construction. GAV/MAC uses the Geyserville Fire Dept. for their meetings. There is now a concern about protocols and who is at the fire department if they leave for an emergency. Policies and procedures need to be incorporated for the GAV/MAC to use the Geyserville fire Dept. The state is involved with the park, it is moving slower than expected. Senator Mike McGuire is involved with the signage for the town of Geyserville.
Geyserville Together meeting – John, Geyserville Odd Fellows was hoping all the committees of Geyserville would endorse how important the Odd Fellows is to the community.
Sculpture Trail – Kyle is working on getting more tribal information to add to the mural project.
Old Business
Status of the Corner Lot and the Agraria Sculpture: John sent Art Torano a lease agreement, both parties have signed it. We now have to add the Torano’s to our insurance policy. John received a draft gift letter from Simon Group, about Agraria Sculpture, we need to supply Simon our contractor’s insurance certificate. They want to have a ceremony when it leaves Santa Rosa and when it is delivered to Geyserville. These two events will not be on the same day. John is looking into making sure we have the funds for this project before he signs for the Gift of the Agraria Sculpture. Victoria is willing to lend the GFC the money that we are in need of for the moving of the sculpture. John wants to have an organized fund raiser to show GFC supports the Sculpture Garden.
Paul motioned to allow John to proceed with an action plan with Bryce for transportation of the Agaria Sculpture. Anna 2nd. All in favor.
At some point we might want to put this information onto our Face Book page. It will show more people what we are doing and maybe bring in more donations for the funding of the transportation costs.
Business Cards – Kyle, ordered business cards with the QR code that were handed out to the present board members.
New Business
Election of Board Members – John motioned to elect Julia Burnett for a second three-year term and Paul Izzo for his second, three -year term. Anna 2nd. All in favor
Election of Officers – Lisa motioned to elect David Kelley for a one -year term as Vice President and Julia Burnett for a one -year term as Secretary. Anna 2nd All in favor.
